| Furnal Equinox is a Toronto-based convention celebrating the arts and culture of the furry fandom and animal enthusiasts, held on a weekend in March. From its first convention in 2010 which took place at the former Doubletree Toronto Airport Hotel, it has grown into an event with over 1500 local and international attendees and costumers, and hosts a wide plethora of events and performances.As a non-profit event, the convention's focus is primarily on sharing and celebrating anthropomorphic (humanized) arts and culture, while simultaneously fundraising and spreading awareness for Ontario-based animal charities that partner with the convention. Whether you're a die-hard fan of animals or looking to explore this colourful community, there's a little something for everyone. | |
